Back in action!!

Saturday 12/09/09 (1st Day)

Ext & Int of Skudai Harvest Church

It is very near the mega mall with HUGH carpark space - ideal location!!

* I was reminded of our new building that is coming soon @ central location!! :)

Youth evangelistic meeting - 1st night

We came very early to familiarize the place & the equipments. :)

own church members. Amazing!!

He is the youngest youth in the meeting. 4years old, ah yang.

Sunday 13/09/09 (2nd Day)

Morning - wakey wakey to xiu lan jie's bakery shop.
Hugh machines to make lotsa BREAD!! *Kim gonna love this place! haha
Free time, Xiu lan jie do facial etc. She is a All-time youth leader & mother of 3kids too!! Cool!!
Challenged to enlarge my capacity!! wad abt u?

Blessed with more food. :) Can you believe it is our breakfast? LOL.

It's LUNCH time *makan again!!

We headed to church after eating, It's empowering Youths time!!

They are just youths wanting to serve more - They are already current

Praise & worship leaders, Sound, Tv crew, Usher etc.

Truly God never despise our youths!!

Together with us, is this amazing lady (Pst Lillian).

She actually planted a few churches already, a selfless & pure Singaporean.

Monday 14/09/09 (3rd Day)

Home Visitations

Hours of journey - Their love for one another & even non believers

They minister to the people in Muar with genuine love - songs & prayers
that touches many lives. (Bold witnessing for the Lord!)

About this brother-in-Christ, wei xiong. During one casual guitar lesson in home
visitation + reaching out to his BS brother..
For his 1st time, he learn 4chords within short period of time + 2 praise songs.
He does not own a guitar, therefore, he will go early to church to pract the next day(as he serve as sound crew too), amazingly 3rd day he played one full praise. Indeed, a willing vessel waiting for empowerment & assurance :)

Reflection Time

On Mon .. A Reflection Day+ Rest Day
I've started my week with some reflection of what
happened last week.
It have been interesting & a learning process each day.

"I guessed you've became more mature."
I had a chat with my sec sch friend.
He has known me for around 7years, seeing me rebellious in school &
who I am today. haha.
Time passed. Many things changed as well.
Mr J. chose to end his education life due to some family
financial prob, now he is serving NS.

He tried hard to explain to me his situation & decisions..
"It will not happen if I'm not in this situation/this family."
"It made me hard to concentrate on my studies." etc.
*After talking some time with him.
I have stopped talking & just listening.

What bothered me was the excuses...
I've learned if we live a life by
giving excuses, it will lead us to nowhere.
It's way to avoid problems. Many times, ended up wasting time.
It's way to hide their insecurity as well.
It's tool to defend own self.

& the end, I ended up counseling & encouraging him.
I shared with him how I pulled through my Nafa years..
It was tough, needed lots of finances help.
Times that I need to work part time jobs & study at the same time.
I'm at the position that I can allow myself to give excuses too. Times, felt like
giving up too. I told myself not to go the "short-cut" or "escape route".
Though it may be narrow path but He will surely bless it.
I just thank God it's over & He is faithful to pull me through. :)

He told me,"I guessed you've became more mature while I'm still the same."
& joke that maybe I should be a teacher or a counselor instead.
He appreciated me for giving him some advices that set him thinking.
What I can say, It's His wisdom & guidance.
I guessed God have been a great teacher, guiding me & molding me.
& it really saddened my heart to see my friends not growing & not
living to their potential/just settle with average life.
I really want to see them successful in life & happy with it.
Believing & praying that he will come to the K.O.G. one day. <3

I really believe in individual potential which God placed in us.
My greatest joy will be seeing each one of you,
live life to the fullest & achieving your life aim.
With smile on your face & hearing "well done, good & faithful servant".

Phew F.O.P 2009 was really good too. :)
It is amazing to see many churches gathering together in unity, one purpose
to give all praise & glory to God @ S.I.S. for all 3 nights.
One body broken for ALL.
Thank God for the counselor tag which allowed me to go in earlier & book
seats for my beloved cg. It's so funny as a lot of people mistaken me as a usher
over there. In one incident, the 3 matured ladies were sitting many rows behind mine at the floor area. They signaled me & asked me is it possible to change to the slope seats, I replied to them nicely & said actually I am not a usher here but will help them inform the usher.
I quickly informed the usher & he got them the seats after the slope area.
The lady smiled & asked me, where are you from?
I smiled and said, " I'm from CHC."
I was reminded in any situations, I am still able to serve anyone.
As One body was broken for all.
Truly, we are representing the church, the children of God and people are watching us..
1 Timothy 4:12
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word,
in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Let's carry the DNA of Chc & God. :)

The walk I walk.

It is by decision.

I've stepped into this walk with you.

I've stopped & realised that it is not easy.

Alone at times. Where are they?

I tried by best & waiting for the BEST to happen.

still waiting upon your timing.

I am hanging on.

Hoping for a branch to hang on.

Hoping for a tap on my back.

Hoping for a lil word from you.

I realised I am still on this walk i walk.

This time no courage to look back,

thoughts that flooded me since dark.

Thanks for the light that guides me.

Believing that they are just walking behind.

Following the walk i walk.

To the place we are belong.

I pray that when i keep walking & growing.

Promises are still faithful to me.

"parable of el part2"

Matthew 20:1-16

I was reminded of the parable of the workers in the vineyard
& a word from Him.

Early in the morning, landowner (Mrs Tai) went out to hire labourers for her vineyard.
Pay: 1 denarius a day (anybody want to work?)

A handful of them came & decided to work for her & she sent them to the vineyard to start working.
*Looking at the workload of the vineyard, she felt it was not enough workers.
She began to search & search. hours went passed.
At 9am, she saw others standing idle in the marketplace & said to them,
'you also go into the vineyard & whenever is right I will give you.'
At 3pm,she did the same & sent them to vineyard to work.
At 5pm,she did the same & sent them to vineyard to work.
(5pm, a hour before the working hours end.)
ding dong* 6pm!! Everybody stopped work & each receive their pay.
When the 1st batch of workers that came earliest, saw the workers came at 5pm & receive 1 denarius.
They are thinking, we'll surely get more than them.
To their surprised & disappointment, they found the same amount in their pay envelope.
They decided to find Mrs Tai & complain.
She answered to one of them, 'I'm doing you no wrong & don't we agree with 1 denarius a day?'
They took what was given & left.
v16 : So the last will be the 1st, and the 1st last. For many are called , but few chosen.

Questions to ponder...

1.So are we going to wait & wait till the end of harvest & come in to help(5.59pm batch of ppl)?

2.sometimes we may have a mindset that if we receive Christ b4 we die on the sickbed,
isn't it easier as walk with Christ can be tough.
(el :Doesn't it mean you've wasted your life on Earth & not fulfilling what you're here for?)

3.or we may have the 1st batch "small mind/heart" mindset, when we are "unfairly" treated we tend to
complain? (like the landowner that gave out 1 denarius to the 1st batch & to the last batch that worked
for one hour only)

el : We have to know at time the system in the world worked differently. However, our rewards are in heaven.
Our Father will never short change us or ill treat us.
Matthew 7:11
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

4.or as the 1st batch(we have a senior feeling) in a group. When new ppl added(like in 9am/3pm/5pm), we tend to
judge & pick on them?
E.g. oh look at the nerd/the black/the poorly dressed/smelly person, i wish they have not come in our group.

el : no one is perfect (imperfection is like a dirt in our eyes & how could I with dirt in our eyes say others about their dirt
in their eyes?)
