Really enchanting, couldn't put it down...ready for the next one! Any idea to when that is???
It was a good book. I look forward to reading the additional installments to get to know the characters better. To be honest, I liked the plot of the first Elemental books (with Travis's sister as the leading character) better, but this is good as well.
Travis was really a surprise and he had a lot of surprises. Anastasia showed her true colors too. The characters are so intricate they seem more real, and lots going on!
Every book Ihaveread from Christie Rich keeps me on the edge of my set!!! Every book makes me feel like Im right in the world of the book!!! GREAT READS!!!!
I purchased the whole series my beef with the books is this; that a young woman could be so head strong that she doesn't listen to advice n put herself n others in danger. This is more adolescent behavior. Her aunt is no better not to help her when she saw her niece is unhappy with her life.
I enjoyed reading origin of angels elemental legacy. The characters are so life like and you get caught up in their story. I liked how they interacted with one another depending on each other and giving strength and support when needed. An excellent book a must read.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! It is the first in a new series while also being a continuation of the story begun in the Elemental Enmity series. The story flowed without a break in the action from book #4 in the previous series. The author has a ltalent of writing fantasy so rich in detail that you are instsantly immersed in the story. Very authentic human emotions are skillfully woven into the storyline The portrayal of good and evil is fantastic! I look forward to the next book of this related new series.
I was so excited about this book and got it on my kindle right away. I loved it. After I having read all the Elemental Enmity books I was looking forward to Origin of Angels. It widened the story and opened up new twists and turns in the story line. The only negative is that the book ended, as I do with each of Christie Riches books I am eager to read the next one in the series. What is next for my favorite characters? I have to know.
I have to say that the way the book is written is brilliant. Each of the characters has their own voice and we hear the story from their point of view. We hear what Rayla is thinking and why she is doing what she is doing. Then we ready what Heath's point of view is, or Zach's, or Travis' and I love that. I was engaged the whole time and have enjoyed the way the story has unfolded. There is so much more to learn about the Fae and the Angels and the Elementals and on and on... looking forward to more. Come on Christie, eager readers are waiting.
